The Beatrice Watson-Acheson Foundation provides teachers, with their dogs, to teach lessons in Humane Education for Kindergarten to Grade 8 classes. The lessons address:
- caring and kindness to pets
- the importance of spaying and neutering
- respecting people, animals and the environment
- developing empathy and compassion for all life
- kindness, respect and reverence for all life
